Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Strategy: Develop, execute, and oversee comprehensive financial plans, forecasts, and budgets to align with the company’s strategic objectives. Drive initiatives for long-term financial health and growth, ensuring cost optimization and identifying new revenue streams. 
• Financial Reporting and Consolidation: Ensure accurate, timely financial reporting and analysis, offering insights that support strategic decision-making. Oversee consolidated reporting for 20+ legal entities across multiple jurisdictions, while ensuring adherence to European regulatory standards.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Navigate the complex landscape of regulatory compliance within the payments sector, ensuring all processes meet European legal standards and support a strong risk management framework.
• Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing finance team, currently comprised of financial analysts, internal accountants, and external compliance partners. Cultivate a culture of growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
• Financial Partnerships: Establish and strengthen relationships with key financial institutions, investors, and external stakeholders to support company goals and foster sustainable partnerships.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with other departments to drive financial innovation and promote cross-functional success, working alongside leadership to achieve ambitious goals in a fast-paced, evolving fintech environment.
• Strategic Investor Relations: Engage strategically with investors to enhance the company’s financial positioning and support future funding rounds. Play an active role in making the company attractive to potential investors by driving a clear and compelling financial narrative.

Requirements:

• Proven Experience: Minimum 5 years in a senior finance role (CFO/Head of Finance) in the payments or fintech industry, with at least 2 years in a CFO capacity managing complex financial structures and multi-entity operations.
• Payment Industry Expertise: Strong background in payment systems, with a deep understanding of the global financial markets, payment processing, and compliance frameworks.
• European Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with European legislation and financial reporting requirements, especially regarding consolidated reporting and multi-jurisdictional operations.
• Leadership and Strategic Vision: Demonstrated experience in leading teams and implementing financial strategies that promote growth, operational efficiency, and innovative solutions.
• Analytical and Communication Skills: High proficiency in financial software and data analysis, coupled with excellent communication skills to articulate complex financial concepts to stakeholders.
• Languages: Fluency in English is required; Russian language skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
