About the Client:

Our client is a financial services company that provides payment solutions and develops technologies to support secure financial transactions across different industries. Their team focuses on efficiency, scalability, and innovation, creating high-performance financial applications for global markets.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Frontend Developer with at least 2 years of experience to join our client’s team in Riga. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in React, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks to develop scalable, user-friendly web applications. Experience in fintech, payments, or financial software development is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize user-facing features using React, TypeScript, and MUI (Material-UI).
  • Implement responsive and adaptive UI designs using CSS/SCSS for seamless user experiences. 
  • Integrate frontend components with REST APIs or GraphQL to ensure efficient data handling. 
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers and backend developers to enhance overall application performance. 
  • Maintain clean, scalable code following industry best practices and modern development standards. 
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize performance for fast, responsive web applications.

Ideal Candidate:

  • 2+ years of experience in frontend development (experience in fintech, payments, or financial technology is a plus).
  • Strong knowledge of React.js, TypeScript, and MUI (Material-UI) for building high-performance applications.
  • Hands-on experience with REST APIs or GraphQL for data-driven applications.
  • Proficiency in CSS/SCSS, focusing on adaptive and responsive web design.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in UI/UX implementation.
  • Fluent in English and Russian to communicate effectively in a multilingual team.

Location & Work Mode:

  • Riga, Latvia.
  • Hybrid work model – office-based initially for the probation period, transitioning to a mix of office and remote work.
