Role Overview

We are looking for a CFO to lead and optimize financial strategy and operations. This role is crucial for ensuring financial stability, compliance, and business expansion. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, deep expertise in fintech, payments or other high-risk environment and experience managing complex financial structures.

Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and execute a financial strategy that aligns with business goals.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Ensure compliance with international financial regulations and standards.
• Handle tax reporting, audits, and financial risk management.
• Lead and mentor a finance team, ensuring operational efficiency.
• Optimize cash flow, liquidity, and financial performance.
• Maintain strong relationships with banks, investors, and key stakeholders.
• Present financial results and strategic plans to management and shareholders.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years in senior finance roles within complex business structures in fintech or high-risk industries. 
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related fields.
• Experience in payments, fintech, gaming or FX industries, with knowledge of industry regulations.
• Strong proficiency in Excel, ERP systems, and financial tools.
• Fluent in Russian; strong English is required. 
• Must hold a valid EU residence
  
• Be based in Barcelona or Riga or open to relocate.
