About the Client
Our client is a growing international Payment Service Provider (PSP) with a remote-first culture and headquarters in Cyprus. The company specializes in Alternative Payment Methods (APMs) for high-risk industries and is actively expanding its global footprint, particularly across Asia.
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and commercially minded Head of Sales (or a strong Senior B2B Sales Lead ready to step up) who understands the nuances of high-risk payments and can build lasting client relationships. You will drive deal flow, expand the sales pipeline, and act as the face of the company at industry events and in key partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage a strong portfolio of merchants in high-risk verticals, with a focus on Asia.
- Leverage existing network and warm contacts to accelerate sales cycles and open new markets.
- Lead the entire sales process—from prospecting and negotiation to onboarding and relationship management.
- Act as the primary commercial representative at key conferences and industry events.
- Work cross-functionally with compliance, operations, and tech teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Contribute to commercial strategy, pricing decisions, and revenue targets.
Requirements
- 3+ years of B2B sales experience in high-risk payments, PSPs, or adjacent fintech verticals.
- Strong grasp of payment models, industry challenges, and key trends in high-risk sectors.
- Proven network of industry contacts, especially among merchants and payment providers.
- Previous experience in building or leading small sales teams is a strong plus.
- Experience in managing sales pipelines, forecasting, and reporting performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with C-level relationship experience.
- Fluency in Russian (required) and strong English proficiency.
