Role Overview
We are looking for a Non-Executive Director with strong financial expertise to join the Supervisory Board of the Estonian entity. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in financial oversight and strategy within the fintech, payments, or financial services sectors.

This is a non-operational governance role focused on supervising financial operations, ensuring transparency, and providing critical input on budgeting, forecasting, and financial risk. The role requires local presence in Estonia or a close professional connection to the jurisdiction.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide oversight and strategic input on the company’s financial planning, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor and evaluate financial risk, capital allocation, and reporting accuracy
• Approve the annual budget and financial strategy based on management board proposals
• Support the selection and evaluation of management board members, with attention to financial leadership
• Ensure financial compliance with regulatory obligations and internal policies
• Review and approve major investments, financial restructurings, or debt-related decisions
• Oversee financial aspects of subsidiary creation, joint ventures, or strategic partnerships
• Participate in approving the remuneration policy and financial governance structure
• Ensure transparency and alignment of board decisions with long-term financial health and business ethics
• Act as an independent and financially informed voice in all board discussions
  
  Requirements
• Based in Estonia or with a strong professional affiliation to Estonia
  
• High education in finance, accounting, economics, or business management
  Proven experience in financial leadership roles within fintech, payments, banking, or crypto
• Deep understanding of financial governance, internal controls, and regulatory frameworks
• Transparent business reputation and clean criminal record
• Ability to critically assess complex financial matters and advise executive leadership
• Fluency in Estonian is highly preferred
