About the Client:

Our client is a fast-growing international crypto payment company that builds secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure for businesses across the globe. With its headquarters in Tallinn and licensed operations in multiple EU countries, the company enables merchants to integrate crypto payments through on/off-ramp services, B2B wallets, and API-driven products. As part of its strategic expansion, the company is establishing a local entity in Lithuania and is seeking an experienced CEO to lead operations on the ground.

Role Overview:

We are looking for a highly driven and experienced CEO to lead the Lithuanian entity of an international crypto processing group. This person will be responsible for managing local operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing licensing matters, building the local team, and driving market growth. The role requires deep understanding of the fintech, crypto, and payments industries, as well as proven C-level leadership experience. Candidates must reside in Lithuania, speak fluent Lithuanian and English, and have a clear vision for business expansion in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the Lithuanian legal entity and ensure full operational functionality.
• Represent the company before the Lithuanian regulator and maintain ongoing compliance with local and EU-level regulations (including MiCA).
• Build and manage a local team, hiring key staff across compliance, operations, and business functions.
• Ensure the successful launch of crypto processing products in the Lithuanian market.
• Oversee daily operations and ensure alignment with group-level strategic objectives.
• Supervise financial performance, budgeting, and reporting for the Lithuanian branch.
• Coordinate closely with group leadership across compliance, legal, product, and technology.
• Take ownership of the company’s reputation and local brand presence.
• Drive strategic partnerships and support growth initiatives across the Baltics and EU region.
• Ensure the entity adheres to all risk, governance, and audit requirements.

Key Requirements

• Based in Lithuania and holding permanent residency or citizenship.
• Fluent in Lithuanian and English (written and spoken).
• Minimum of 5 years of senior leadership (C-level) experience, ideally as a CEO, COO, or Country Manager.
• Strong background in fintech, payments, or crypto industries.
• Experience working with regulators and licensing processes in the EU.
• Solid understanding of compliance frameworks, including AML, MiCA, and local requirements.
• Proven ability to build teams, scale businesses, and manage cross-functional operations.
• Exceptional communication, strategic thinking, and execution skills.
• Strong stakeholder management with the ability to represent the business publicly.
