About the Client
Our client is an international and rapidly growing Payment Service Provider (PSP) headquartered in Riga, Latvia. They specialize in high-risk verticals, including online gambling, delivering advanced payment solutions worldwide and expanding their presence in Asia.
Role Overview
You will lead the setup, development, and management of P2P payment solutions in Japan and Korea. The role focuses on navigating complex regulations, building local partnerships, and driving projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end setup of P2P payment solutions in Japan and Korea, ensuring compliance with local laws.
Build and manage relationships with local payment partners, banks, and regulatory authorities.
Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and refine strategies.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams for smooth integration of payment solutions.
Monitor and optimize payment processes to improve efficiency and user experience.
Provide senior management with regular updates on market trends and project progress.
Represent the company at key industry events and conferences in the region.
Requirements
5+ years in business development within the payments industry.
1+ year of hands-on experience setting up P2P payments in Japan and Korea.
Deep knowledge of the regulatory environment in both countries.
Proven ability to manage complex projects successfully.
Fluency in Russian and English; Japanese and/or Korean is a plus.
