About the Client
Our client is a growing payment solutions startup (PSP system) currently in the client acquisition stage. The product is designed to serve both low- and high-risk clients, offering flexibility and adaptability to market needs. The team of 28 professionals is distributed across Warsaw, Cyprus, and Italy, with plans for further expansion. While the office is located in Warsaw, the role can be performed remotely with periodic team gatherings and participation in industry events and conferences. The company highlights strong career and financial growth opportunities, with above-market commissions from client deals.
Role Overview
As a Sales / Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth by acquiring new clients in the PSP/fintech industry. You’ll work with client bases, generate leads, negotiate at a high level, and build long-term business relationships. This role requires a proactive, resilient salesperson who thrives in a dynamic startup environment and is ready to grow with the company.
Key Responsibilities
Actively acquire new clients in the PSP/fintech/crypto industry.
Generate leads and build a long-term client portfolio.
Present the company’s product to potential partners and close deals.
Manage the full sales cycle from initial contact to onboarding.
Work closely with internal teams to align sales with company strategy.
Represent the company at industry events and conferences.
Report on sales activity and progress to the Head of Sales.
Requirements
Proven sales experience in the payments industry (PSP, fintech, or crypto).
Strong negotiation and client relationship skills.
Resilience and the ability to handle objections effectively.
Fluency in Russian and English (both written and spoken).
Based in Europe (preferred: Ukraine, Cyprus, Malta, Poland).
Willingness to travel to Warsaw and attend industry conferences.
Existing client base is a plus, but not required.
