Our client is a newly launched payment gateway startup focused on the LATAM market, offering alternative payment methods to global clients in the betting and gaming industries. Built on a strong foundation of payment expertise, the company combines stability, fast transaction processing, and 24/7 customer support. It’s an agile and ambitious fintech environment aiming to scale internationally.
Role Overview
As the Head of Sales, you will be the first sales leader in the company, responsible for developing and executing the go-to-market strategy. You’ll establish the sales structure, build relationships with clients across Europe and LATAM, and drive revenue growth through alternative payment solutions. The role involves communication with international clients and requires adaptability, initiative, and a hands-on approach to building processes from scratch.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the company’s sales strategy from the ground up.
- Identify and approach new clients in the betting and gaming sectors.
- Promote alternative payment solutions to European and global businesses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships through effective communication and follow-ups.
- Conduct cold outreach and manage full sales cycles independently.
- Represent the company at industry events and online meetings.
- Provide feedback to the product and operations teams to improve service quality.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in sales within payments, fintech, or related industries.
- Strong understanding of the payments landscape, especially in LATAM.
- Proven ability to sell without relying on brand recognition.
- Strong LinkedIn presence and established network within the industry.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal); Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
- Proactive, adaptable, and goal-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and build sales processes from scratch.
