Product Owner - Billing Platform Evolution

Role Overview
Our client, an international payment solutions provider, is seeking a Product Owner to lead the development of their internal billing and reporting platform. The role combines product strategy, financial system development, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency, transparency, and reliability across all payment and settlement processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the redesign and optimisation of the company’s billing, invoicing, and reconciliation platform.
- Build structured, scalable architecture to support multiple entities, currencies, and regions.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and commercial teams to align product and business objectives.
- Define a clear product roadmap, monitor feature delivery, and ensure timely implementation of improvements.
- Oversee system documentation, audit readiness, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards.
- Drive product enhancements that improve reporting accuracy, operational control, and data transparency.
Requirements
- Proven experience in product strategy or management within fintech, payments, or financial systems.
- Deep understanding of billing, reconciliation, accounting workflows, and financial reporting processes.
- Ability to bridge technical and business teams - confident discussing APIs, architecture, and integrations.
- Experience leading system modernisation or platform migration projects.
- Excellent Ukrainian or Russian or English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Knowledge of GDPR, PCI DSS, or DORA regulations is an advantage.
