About the Client
Our client is an international and growing PSP with a strong focus on the Asian market.
Role Overview
The role is responsible for strategic development and operational leadership of the payments direction. You will build and scale a global provider network, optimise payment conversion, and ensure stable and efficient local payment acceptance across key regions.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the global payments strategy
Identify priority markets and relevant local payment methods
Build and expand partnerships with PSPs, acquirers, and local APMs
Lead commercial negotiations on fees, terms, and SLAs
Oversee technical integrations (API, routing, hosting)
Monitor KPIs, including approval rate, cost, and uptime
Collaborate with Risk and Compliance teams to manage payment risks (the role involves communication with international clients)
Requirements
Strong knowledge of global and local payment methods (cards, bank transfers, e-wallets, mobile money, APMs)
Proven experience building provider networks in Southeast Asia, Africa, and Latin America
Solid understanding of API integrations, 3-D Secure, PCI, PSD2, AML, and processing flows
Experience negotiating large contracts with banks and PSPs
Fluent in Russian and English
