About the Client

The company is focused on expanding its presence across multiple regions and scaling its commercial function with a strong, structured sales leadership approach.
Role Overview
As Head of Sales, you will own the commercial strategy and execution for the payment gateway product across multiple regions. This is a strategic, leadership-driven role where you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, entering new markets, and building a high-performing sales organisation.
You will represent the company externally, develop regional strategies, and ensure consistent performance across markets, while building and leading a strong sales team.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the global sales strategy for the payment gateway product.
Drive business development and revenue growth across multiple regions.
Identify and enter new markets, establishing a strong regional presence.
Build, lead, and scale a high-performing international sales team.
Set clear KPIs and ensure consistent team performance and accountability.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
Collaborate with product, operations, and compliance teams to align commercial efforts.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in the payments industry.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales leadership role.
Proven track record in selling payment solutions (acquiring, issuing, or payment gateway).
Strong understanding of the payments ecosystem and merchant needs.
Experience driving expansion into new markets and regions.
