Our client is an international B2B fintech company specializing in cross-border payment and banking solutions for businesses worldwide. They provide multi-currency business accounts, dedicated UK, EU, and US IBANs, FX services, corporate cards, international payments, and treasury solutions. Their services simplify global transactions and financial operations for SMEs and enterprise clients, working with businesses across Europe, the UAE, and other international markets.
Role Overview
This senior leadership role is for a Head of Sales who can build, lead, and scale the commercial function within the payments and fintech space. You will manage multifunctional sales teams and drive strategic growth while engaging directly in key commercial activities. The role involves leading Business Development Managers, Relationship Managers, outbound/cold-calling teams, and potentially performance marketing functions, aiming to create a robust, scalable sales structure and drive revenue growth. The role involves active communication with international teams.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multifunctional commercial teams, including Business Development, Relationship Management, and outbound sales teams
Build and improve scalable sales processes, structures, KPIs, and team performance frameworks
Drive strategic development of the sales function and identify new growth opportunities
Support and improve outbound acquisition strategy, lead generation, and client conversion processes
Work closely with senior leadership on commercial planning and business growth strategy
Personally participate in key sales processes, strategic partnerships, and enterprise-level deal closing
Oversee team performance, reporting, forecasting, and pipeline management
Potentially supervise performance marketing activities connected to lead generation and revenue growth
Requirements
5+ years of experience in fintech, payments, EMI, or financial services
Proven experience managing multifunctional sales teams and commercial operations
Strong leadership background across Business Development, Account Management, Relationship Management, or Sales functions
Experience building and improving sales structures, KPIs, and scalable acquisition models
Comfortable balancing leadership responsibilities with direct commercial involvement
Key Soft Skills
Strategic mindset with strong execution skills and ownership mentality
Strong communication, people management, and decision-making skills
