About the Client
Our client is an Electronic Money Institution offering multi-currency business accounts, payment processing, and corporate card issuing services. They cater to businesses across various sectors, providing access to payment networks like SWIFT and SEPA for international transactions. Customers can manage their finances through online banking and mobile applications.
Role Overview
Join a dynamic team as the Head of Sales, where you'll define and execute sales strategies to meet ambitious growth targets. This is an exciting opportunity to lead a high-performing team, working on complex enterprise deals with strategic clients. You'll play a critical role in identifying new market opportunities and collaborating with key departments to refine product strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the company's sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue and growth targets.
Build, lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, establishing clear processes, KPIs, and performance standards.
Own the commercial pipeline and oversee the full sales cycle, supporting the team in closing complex enterprise deals with banks, fintechs, payment providers, and other strategic clients.
Develop and strengthen relationships with C-level executives and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted commercial partner.
Identify new market opportunities, strategic partnerships, and distribution channels to accelerate product adoption and international expansion.
Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Customer Success, and Leadership teams to refine product positioning, pricing, and go-to-market strategy.
Analyze sales performance, forecast revenue, optimize the sales funnel, and continuously improve commercial processes.
Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking activities to strengthen brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in B2B sales within fintech, payments, banking, or open banking, including leadership experience.
Proven track record of building and managing high-performing sales teams while consistently exceeding revenue targets.
Strong understanding of open banking, payment processing, acquiring, embedded finance, or related financial infrastructure.
Demonstrated success in closing complex enterprise deals and managing long sales cycles with senior decision-makers.
Strong strategic thinking combined with a hands-on, execution-oriented approach.
Excellent leadership, coaching, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Fluent English with outstanding communication and presentation skills.
Languages: English, Russian.
