About the Client

Our client is an established crypto processing company providing crypto payment and account solutions to businesses globally. With a global team of almost 50 people and a growing international presence, the company has recently obtained a Georgian licence and is expanding its operations in the local market.

Role Overview

As an Accountant based in Georgia, you will be responsible for the accounting, tax reporting, payroll, and statutory compliance of the company’s Georgian legal entity operating under a VASP license. You will ensure accurate and timely reporting in line with Georgian legislation and applicable regulatory requirements. You'll be part of a skilled team, enjoying the flexibility of a fully remote work environment and contributing to the company's financial success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting for the company’s Georgian legal entity.

• Prepare and submit all required statutory and tax reports in accordance with Georgian legislation.

• Calculate and manage local taxes and related obligations.

• Handle the registration and administration of employees from an accounting/payroll perspective.

• Calculate monthly salaries, payroll taxes, and other mandatory contributions.

• Ensure timely submission of required declarations and payments.

• Work closely with the internal team to gather necessary financial data and support information.

• Keep accounting records and documentation accurate and compliant.

Requirements

• Previous experience as an Accountant.

• Strong knowledge of Georgian tax, payroll, and accounting regulations.

• Experience preparing and submitting official/statutory reports and tax declarations.

• Hands-on experience with payroll calculation and employee-related taxation.

• Experience working with VASP, crypto, fintech, or other regulated financial companies.

• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for local accounting and compliance deadlines.

• Languages: English, Russian.
