Role Overview

As a Banking & Payment Operations Senior Manager, you will have the opportunity to shape and drive the development of payment operations. You'll work in a hybrid role based in Riga, focusing on enhancing payment infrastructure, cross-border payments, and multi-currency accounts. This high-impact position allows you to manage complex B2B relationships and contribute to the company’s strategic growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and transform payment and settlement processes.

• Oversee domestic and international payment methods, including correspondent banking and clearing.

• Open bank accounts and establish correspondent banking relationships.

• Ensure compliance with AML, sanctions screening, and transaction monitoring.

• Translate operational requirements into business and technology specifications.

• Manage developers, external vendors, and integration projects.

• Negotiate pricing and commercial terms with banking partners.

Requirements

• Significant experience in banking operations, international payments, or payment infrastructure.

• Proven experience building or transforming payment and settlement processes.

• Strong understanding of domestic and international payment methods and compliance controls.

• Practical experience opening bank accounts and establishing correspondent banking relationships.

• Strong understanding of AML, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring, and payment compliance controls.

• Languages: English, Russian.

• Experience in fintech.
