Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the financial transformation at a dynamic payment service provider. As the CFO, you will drive the development of the finance function across multiple legal entities. You will play a crucial role in building and automating finance processes, implementing ERP systems, and partnering with senior management to enhance financial visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transformation and development of the Group’s finance function across multiple legal entities.

• Build, improve, and automate core finance processes, including month-end closing, consolidation, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Lead the implementation of ERP and financial management systems and ensure finance processes are structured and scalable.

• Establish strong internal controls, reporting standards, and processes in line with international best practices.

• Oversee treasury, safeguarding, regulatory reporting, and external audit processes.

• Take a hands-on approach during the transformation phase, building the function and processes before moving into a more strategic leadership role.

• Partner with senior management and other functions to improve financial visibility, controls, and decision-making.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a CFO, Finance Director, or senior finance leadership role, ideally within fintech, payments, banking, or another regulated financial services environment.

• Strong experience in building and transforming finance functions and processes.

• Solid IFRS reporting and consolidation experience across multiple legal entities.

• Experience with ERP and/or FP&A system implementation; NetSuite experience is a plus.

• Strong understanding of treasury, safeguarding, financial controls, and regulatory requirements.

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification.

• Experience with Big4 audits is a plus.

• Experience in fintech.
